Board Members

Phil Cassella, Chairman
Mr. Cassella is the current Recreation Board chairman and has been with the department for over thirty years, serving as director of the original program. Mr. Cassella is a former teacher and administrator in the district, a member of both the Perry Alumni Athletic and the State of Ohio Athletic Directors Halls of Fame and a current Perry Village Councilman and serving as the Village representative to the Recreation Board. Mr. Cassella enjoys volunteering for a myriad of organizations.

Keith Solar, Vice Chairperson
Keith is the current Director of the Perry Community Fitness and Wellness


Walter Siegel, Secretary
Mr. Siegel is a lifelong Perry Resident and serves as Township Administrator and Zoning Inspector, in addition to his duties as Board Secretary. He and his wife, Janice, have six children--Four Perry graduates and two current Perry students. Mr. Siegel is a member of the Lake County Planning Commission and presently sits on the following boards of directors: Perry Joint Fire District, Perry Joint Economic Development District, NOACA, Perry High School Hall of Fame committee. He is also involved with the Lake County Township Association, the Lake County Economic Development Council, Madison-Perry Chamber of Commerce and Perry Kiwanis Club.
